Level 1
An electrician with level 1 training is qualified to work on overhead and underground cables connected to the electrical network. They have a licence to operate on electrical distributing networks and are an Accredited Service Provider (ASP). There are distinctions between level one electricians and those with other electrical asp levels (Level 2 and Level 3) and certifications.

An electrician with level 1 certification can work in both residential and commercial buildings that have electricity networks. Overhead and underground cable systems can be connected to, installed, repaired, and maintained by them. As a fully qualified level 1 ASP electrician, you will be responsible for the safety of electrical systems and equipment. You will need to have a good understanding of electrical theory and be able to apply it to real-world situations. You will also need to be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment.
